The National Museum of Rural Life has exhibits exploring the technology and social history of life and work in the countryside. Our museum also has a historic farmhouse and working farm with heritage breeds of dairy and beef cattle, pigs, sheep, horses and chickens onsite.
It’s a fun a place for little ones to play and develop with regular activities such as tractor tots. It’s a fantastic learning environment for school children to discover sustainability, social history and where their food comes from. And with a lovely café and tranquil setting it’s a beautiful place to unwind.
