Dunfermline Events organises and runs the DunfermlineBruce Festival This an event run annually celebrating thelife and times of Robert The Bruce. It is a Free Two-DayFestival which is of value to anyone who has any interestin Scottish history, culture and folklore. The Festival is anopportunity to re-tell his story that helps to re-inforce hislegendary status. Held in the first week-end in June in Pittencrieff Parkfeaturing staged pitched battles, jousting, storytelling,archery and falconry displays as well as music all linked tothe 'Bruce' story. The Festival will have a fun, friendly andrelaxed atmosphere. There will also be various craft stalls,local businesses as well as a number of food & beveragevendors ensuring that there is something for everyonewho is looking for a great family day out.
