To cover all aspects of a busy community cafe working alongside cafe supervisor, cook and service users attending the centre. Duties include taking orders from cafe customers, serving and clearing tables, loading/unloading dishwashed, supporting staff with some of the food preparation, tidying cafe area and other aspects of working in a cafe environment.
Experience required
Friendly individual with good communication skills / interest in cooking and customer service. Training provided for this role.
Travel details
Situated in Kilbirnie close to the Health Centre and Social Work Department. There are bus services to Kilbirnie and train services to Glengarnock Station.

Training details
Volunteers will cover induction for cafe with catering supervisor and will have supervision on a regular basis They will be given the opportunity to have Elementary Food Hygiene training and will be included on other relevant training as and when require.
