Golden Friendships
- VO100774
No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our community well if we don't have good organisers in the team. If this sounds like you... we would love you to consider volunteering with us for a few hours per week.
Golden Friendships is a charity which promotes social inclusion in Clydebank by organising entertainment, events and fun activities for everyone. Social inclusion is the process of improving the terms on which individuals and groups take part in society - improving the ability, opportunity, and dignity of those disadvantaged in our communities.
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are keen to help our team. Volunteers will need to be reliable, committed, have good interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Tasks include -
- To keep the tea bar area clean and tidy as you work.
- Help the bar team with the restocking products
- Be the cheerful and social face of our club
So whether you are looking to use your time well, update your skills or have the chance to do something a bit new, we can offer you a warm welcome and all of the support and help you could need.
We are seeing a rise in demand for our services everyday. Having your help will allow us to be there for the people who need us. Any time you can give will make a real difference.
