Foodbank & Community Volunteers

ROOTs are a grassroots charity that run a foodbank which serves Bonnybridge, Banknock and Denny. We also run free community events to help connect communities, tackle social isolation, promote wellbeing and advance inclusivity. We are a passionate team of volunteers, and we are looking for more help to enable us to keep serving our community!

If you have some spare time to support the residents of Bonnybridge and the surrounding areas then we have various opportunities! These include:

Weekly foodbank support, organisation and distribution of our collection-only foodbank.

Driver for our (new!) minibus and for collecting goods for our foodbank.

Community events support, such as helping with the running of our weekly Happy Mondays lunch club

Experience required

No skills or experience required, just a friendly and positive attitude!
