Woodcraft Folk Scotland
- VO90921
Woodcraft Folk are looking for group leaders and helpers for our Glasgow Kelvingrove groups. There are 4 groups for children and young people of differing age ranges from under 6's to 13-16's . The groups meet one evening a week in term time but may organise day trips and camps in school holidays.
Our groups aim to develop children and young people's confidence and awareness of the world. We promote big ideas like equality, co-operation and environmental sustainability through fun activities.
We do a wide range of activities including games, craft, exploring nature, bushcraft, drama, discussions and songs. As well as weekly group nights we take part in day events and camps with groups from across Scotland.
If you are interested in joining our friendly team of volunteers please get in touch with Fleur Gayet, Scottish Officer by emailing scotland@woodcraft.org.uk or phoning 07833 051 557. We will provide induction information, taster sessions and training opportunities.
Please note that we have other volunteer opportunities in Glasgow in the Southside.
