Helping with looking after all the patches of garden in the old Newhaven area around Newhaven Main Street including the Old Burial Ground, the Fernery, the garden on Newhaven Main Street, the planters and window boxes and the vegetable plot. Creating happy spots for people to enjoy and developing the garden and glasshouse and compost heap. Liasing with the local primary school children and the local community.

Experience required

Knowledge of plants would be useful
Willingness to help and be involved
Able to use gardening tools
happy to work alone
Keen to work in the environmental project
Getting dirty

Travel details

Bus number 11 or 10 or 16 or 7 all come very close
