Our Board Trustees have legal responsibility for the overall good management and administration of Peace and Justice. They are responsible for the overall strategic direction of the organisation, management of resources, identify and manage risks and management of HR. We are looking for various people to commit for one and a half hours per week which includes attending bi-monthly Board meetings.
Experience required
Essential: Ability to work as part of a team; commitment to the ethos of the organisation; communication and leadership skills.
Desirable: Finance management; fundraising; HR; Health and safety; Knowledge and experience of the voluntary sector.
Travel details
The location is conveniently based on bus routes (12) with paid on-street parking nearby. We are wheelchair accessible with a ramp at the entrance. Unfortunately we do not have a disabled toilet.
Travel expenses
A volunteer would fill in an expenses form. This would be submitted to the Administrator. Expenses would be reimbursed as soon as possible.

Training details
There will be opportunities to come along to a Board meeting as an observer and to find out more about the responsibilities of the role before making a commitment. Induction training will be provided by the Convenor of the Board.
