Our Morningside Save the Children Shop has been a much loved part of the local community for years and continues to be hugely popular, thanks to the kindness and generosity of the volunteer led team.
All you need is some enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference. The role is diverse, taking place on the shop floor and behind the scenes. Volunteer activities include customer service, creative merchandising, preparing items for sale and working as part of a team.
Experience required
No previous experience is required as all training will be provided on an ongoing basis.

Travel expenses
Travel expenses can be reclaimed on acceptance of receipt - on the day or combined weekly/monthly - whatever suits the volunteer best.

Training details
We provide initial induction training and then operate a buddying system thereafter - dependant on the needs of the individual volunteer.

Minimum age: 18
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
