Retail Volunteer - Hawick

From stunning boutiques full of designer gems to discount stores where you can grab a bargain, our charity shops are much-loved across Scotland.

We are on the lookout for shop floor volunteers to lend a hand in our Hawick shop. If you have a passion for fashion and love chatting to customers, we would love to hear from you! This role would suit someone who is already a customer service wiz, and keen to share their skills. Equally, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to gain experience in a customer-facing role, and learn the ins and outs of a busy shop. Either way, volunteering in our shops is a brilliant way to support our cause, make a difference in your local community, and have a bit of fun along the way!

We believe everyone has the right to live life to the full following the diagnosis of a chest or heart condition, long Covid, or a stroke. Our shops are vital in helping us raise the funds needed to provide services such as community support services, specialist nurses, advice and information, education, and peer support.

Experience required

This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role. As part of our team of volunteers, you will provide customer support, whilst working in a friendly atmosphere, providing an extremely useful and appreciated service to the charity. The role includes welcoming and assisting customers, customer service and sales service, stock control, sorting donations, hanging, and ticketing stock and helping to keep the shop clean and tidy.
