Female buddy/befriender required to help a mum reach a personal goal over 16 weeks.
Increase confidence building through sharing an interest and regularly meeting in the community or by videocall.
Some note taking involved.
Good verbal communication with mum and volunteer coordinator by video, text, phone or email.
Time 4 Mum focusses on helping isolated parents and carers explore what is available to them in their local area. With the support of a volunteer parent/carers are encouraged to identify and try out an activity or hobby on a weekly basis until they are confident to attend without support and have built networks of their own.

Travel details

We work across the city of Edinburgh and whilst there may be some travel involved to meet with mum this will be reimbursed and / or can be paid in advance.

Travel expenses

Expenses forms are completed and money is transferred into personal accounts when receipts are produced. Money can be given in advance for planned activities
