We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to work as part of a team providing high quality assistance and support to a variety of individuals including adults with learning and physical disabilities. The Volunteer Support Assistant will assist the Support Workers and other team members with the Service Programme and any other activities which make take place during operational hours
Experience required
We are looking for Volunteers who have knowledge and skills that can be transferable to support our service user group during their daily programme. Some examples of this would be, but not limited to music, drama, arts and crafts, local knowledge of the area, current affairs, sports, cooking, baking and exercise. Experience in social would be useful, but not essential as training is provided.

Relevant health & safety issues. Organisational policies & procedures Care related training. Confidentuality.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
No real restrictions, but volunteers require to be flexible and reliable
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
