Food Co-op & Foodbank Volunteers

Support local food co-ops in the community and bring fresh fruit to schools.

Volunteer opportunities include:
-Assisting with customer service at our food co-op base
-Helping out at community outlets
-Supporting our Foodbank Base

Any relevant out of pocket expenses are re-imbursed e.g.: bus fares.

Support
Training details

Good support is provided to all volunteers. Induction and start up training. All volunteer help is greatly appreciated and volunteers receive certificates in recognition of the help they provide.

Minimum age: 16
None

Frequency & commitment
Flexible times and days available to suit volunteers.

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
