Volunteers for Befriending, Social Activities and Driving

We are looking for volunteers to take an active support role, working alongside our staff team.
We offer a range of social, practical and fun activities for our members who have various levels of ability, needs and differing interests. Our community at the Day Centre live with a range of different conditions such as dementia, physical disability, mild learning disability, sensory impairment or mental health support needs.
• Befriending volunteers offer one-to-one support to enable members to get involved in the various group activities.
• Social activity volunteers are involved in organising and at times taking the lead in these various types of daily group-based activities.
• Driving volunteers make use of our minibus and car to drive clients without access to transport between home and the day centre
