Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. That's why the right care at the end of your life is so important. With other group members from your local area, you will organise fundraising events, collections and bring your community together in supporting Marie Curie. The group meets approximately every 6 weeks to organise 2-4 events per year.
Due to Covid-19 at present all volunteer fundraising is being carried out virtually.
Experience required
Ability to work as part of a team, reliability, good organisational skills and good communication skills.
Travel details
Penicuik. The group organise events in Penicuik.
Travel expenses
Mileage can be paid for distances travelled to attend fundraising events, full guidance will be given during volunteer induction. Mileage rate is 45p per mile.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
