Cancer Research UK Volunteers

Described by one volunteer, as ‘friendly, fun and fulfilling’, there are lots of ways to lend a hand and you can really make the roles your own! We’d love to know if you have any particular skills you’d like to share so that we can find a role that suits you.

There are loads of different roles available :from Customer Service Assistant, to Volunteer Admin Assistant, to Fundraiser, and Volunteer Driver – there is something out there to suit you.

Travel details

In Aberdeen we have 2 shops, one on Union Street and one on Rosemount Viaduct. We also have stores in Banchory and our new Inverurie Store.

Travel expenses

Volunteer travel expenses are available on agreement with Shop Manager, we pay for public transport if the volunteer can commit to certain number of hours. Reimbursement is on production of the relevant travel ticket

Support
Training details

Good support and relevant training is provided-includes a taster session/shop visit and on going training and support.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 14

Frequency & commitment
Flexible times available to suit volunteers. All help greatly appreciated.

Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
