Jock Tamson's Gairden

Help to create, develop and maintain the beautiful Glebe by Duddingston Loch. Tasks include Sowing seeds, ground cultivation, taking cuttings, pruning, grass-cutting, path-building, making garden structures and generally adding your skills and personality to the Glebe field.
Experience required
Absolutely no experience necessary – you just need to enjoy being outdoors, but if you have gardening or landscaping experience we’d be pleased to meet you too.

We can provide travel expenses. We do provide tea, coffee and biscuits.
Support
Training details
You will be provided with training according to the activities you chose to take part in- this will be on-going. Training is not certified.

Minimum age: 16
Availability
Frequency & commitment
Minimum: one morning or afternoon session. No maximum commitment. 10:00 a.m. - 14:30 pm.
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
