A convenient and accessible way to Stay Active. Walk and talk companions’ volunteers can meet beneficiaries at their own home or a predetermined location. They can take a leisurely stroll together, walk to a specific destination, or accompany individuals to a local walking group in the area. It's a great way to stay active and engage with the community for both the volunteer and the beneficiaries.
Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
