Would you like to support children with disabilities to get involved in activities and have fun?

The Hyperclub offer many activities/services for children with disabilities, including activity cafes, a sensory room and weekly karaoke. They are looking for activity cafe support volunteers to support the children that attend.

As a volunteer, you will support the children that attend to take part in activities within the cafe of the Hyperclub, such as games and sensory activities. You will engage with the children, show them how to complete the activities and try to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone that attends.

Volunteers are needed for sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, and there will be a minimum of one volunteers or staff member to four children. No experience with children with additional support needs is required, only a positive and patient attitude, as training will be given.

Experience required

Hyperclub are looking for volunteers with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to get involved. Ideally, volunteers should have good communication skills, an ability to work with others, alertness and patience. Volunteers don' t need any specific experience as training will be provided.

Travel expenses

Travel expenses paid for public transport and mileage.

Training details

Volunteers are provided induction training when they start their role, and are offered additional training such as child protection on an ongoing basis. Volunteers receive support from their named contact and other volunteers.
