Flamingo Beach @ Silverburn - Event/Retail Volunteer

Following the success in 2023, Silverburn are partnering with Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and bringing back Flamingo Beach for another year! Flamingo Beach will be located inside the centre and will be open to children and families visiting the centre. For an entry fee, visitors will gain access to the beach and have the opportunity to play in the sand, build sand castles and play with the beach toys. Parents and carers will have a comfortable decking area to sit on and watch on as their kids have fun.

The indoor beach will be open to the public each day from Monday 24th June to Sunday 18th August, and our volunteers will support with obtaining entry fees from visitors and ensuring everyone is happy in the beach. We also have a small retail space next to the beach that will need to be manned by volunteers, selling beach themed merchandise and products.

We have two options of volunteer shifts for this opportunity, 9:30am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 5pm so if you can spare a few hours and want to come join in the fun, we would love to have you!

This is a great opportunity for anyone that enjoys interacting with the public and would like to have a direct impact by helping to raise vital funds that support our young patients, their families and our NHS heroes at the hospital.
