Shop Floor Assistant - Duloch

At CHAS we care for children throughout Scotland and we're here for the whole family. Whether at home, in
hospital, or visiting our hospices, we give families the care and support they need, when they need it.
CHAS runs a number of charity shops across Scotland, selling donated stock as well as new goods to raise the vital
funds required to care for children and their families. You will be volunteering within our retail team, assisting with
the day to day running of the shop floor and provide excellent customer service.
This opportunity is at our Duloch Shop in Dunfermline. You will work with a small team to welcome customers into
the shop, serve at the till and processing donations. If you enjoy keeping busy while having a laugh with a great
team, this opportunity is for you!

Experience required

It would be great if you have good communication and customer service skills. It is important that you work well in a team and you share the same values with the organisation: respect, care honesty and accountability.

Travel details

This will be based in our Duloch shop in Dunfermline. 5A, Duloch Park, Turnstone Rd, Dunfermline KY11 8JZ. The
shop is easily accessible by public transport or free car parking on site. Travelling expenses are provided.

Travel expenses

Yes - CHAS reimburses reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred in the course of volunteering, including
public transport on submission of receipts/tickets and car (current mileage rate = 45p), every month.
