Be part of a dedicated team carrying out a wide and varied range of tasks to help make our shops a success whilst helping to raise vital funds to help support people in the community facing difficulties with the cost of living.
Our Preloved Cloths Shop is open on a Wednesday from 9.30am – 1pm and runs alongside our community café where people can meet in a warm space for a hot drink and a chat or enjoy our free homemade soup lunches.
Experience required
Experience required for Coordinator.
Some experience of having worked in retail or in a charity shop setting would be desirable.
Ability to manage volunteers and set up and maintain a weekly rota.
Be responsible for cash control within the shop including floats.
Experience required for coordinator and shop assistants.
Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Reliable and good time keeping
Physically able to carry out allocated tasks.
Processing cash donations for cloths and any returns
Replenishing stock on the shop floor
Stocktaking and other administrative tasks
All volunteers must complete a PVG Disclosure
You should be friendly and helpful and have a welcoming manner.
Happy to be a part of team, flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks including the recycling or moving on of unsellable stock.
Report any issues to manager and work together to resolve them.
