Denny Stroke Group is an independent group, insured by and partnered to Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS). Our aim is to support people living with stroke through social interaction so that our members can enjoy life.

We are currently looking for volunteers to join us as a Social Helper.

The time commitment would be one afternoon per week when the group is in session (Friday’s from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at Denny Library). A social helper would chat with members, help facilitate refreshments and take part in the group activities with the members.

No official training but shadowing is part of the induction process for the role and ongoing support will be provided.
