Cyrenians - Falkirk
- VO100645
Cyrenians Community Learning Hub at Arnotdale House is home to several projects providing support and building community for people across Falkirk.
Cyrenians are looking for a volunteer who has a love for and experience of caring for roses and could lend a hand in their Walled Garden in Dollar Park.
In the Walled Garden there is a small flower bed of roses and they are also training roses to climb the archway at the entrance. The volunteer would help to dehead and prune the roses, and generally provide some tender loving care.
This is a flexible role that can fit around the volunteer, with the amount of time required depending on the roses and the season! This would be perfect for a green fingered volunteer looking to spend some more time outside in the lovely Walled Garden.
Experience required
A knowledge and love of gardening.
Travel expenses
Travel to and from the Walled Garden

We would envisage in the first instance a couple of hours a week and then it would be up to the volunteer to decide upon the hours needed to give the roses the love and care they deserve.
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
