Dundee Kiltwalk – St Andrews Event Support

About this event

The Dundee Kiltwalk 2024 is seeking volunteers for the start in St Andrews on 11th August 2024. Volunteers will assist walkers, help with setup, and distribute snacks and merchandise. It’s a rewarding opportunity to support a good cause and gain event industry experience.

Sign up now to volunteer at the Dundee Kiltwalk 2024! Join the fantastic team of Kiltie volunteers and help support thousands of walkers as they take on the Dundee Kiltwalk and fundraise for a charity close to their heart.
The Dundee Kiltwalk are looking for Venue Kilties to support at their Mighty Stride start line in St Andrews from 6:30am – 2pm on 11th August 2024. Tasks include helping with set up, welcoming and encouraging walkers, assisting at the info and luggage tent, directing walkers and handing out snacks, water and merchandise.
The walkers rely on the encouragement and motivation they receive from volunteers and many report that this is what ultimately gets them across the finish line. Be part of a feel-good event, soak up the Kiltwalk atmosphere and meet like-minded people. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and gain valuable experience in the events industry. It truly is a rewarding day!

Experience required

A positive attitude and willingness to learn is all that is required.

Travel details

The event takes place on the West Sands, St Andrews. Volunteers are required to make their own way to and from the event.

Travel expenses

Volunteers can claim travel support up to £15 per event. All claims for travel support will be processed after the event.
