Social Media Volunteers

Join us as a Social Media Volunteer supporting our amazing volunteers on our marketing team*
Aberdeen Blueberry Wellness is a Community Interest Company which exists to work with communities to improve key health and fitness concerns, via education and employment.

We have a great opportunity to volunteer helping to support us with our social media and marketing plans.

Please help us develop awareness of our programmes to meet this much needed community needs, our wellness offering and support delivery in line with the objectives of Aberdeen Blueberry Wellness. These objectives have been developed in line with the Aberdeen City Council Local Outcome Improvement Plan, relevant locality plans and the Health and Social Care Partnership Strategic Plan for the City, building a more vibrant and healthier city.


The role involves:
• Maintaining the website, ensuring all content is up to date and updated regularly
• Managing all social media channels within brand guidelines
• Creating content for digital and print channels within brand guidelines
• Identify local marketing groups such as community facebook groups, magazines, and local notice boards
• Designing, creating and managing all print materials ensuring any marketing spend is maximised
• Monitoring effectiveness of all marketing activities and spend including Google analytics, post campaign reviews etc.
• Supporting CEO with PR activities
• Any other social media/PR related tasks as required

Training details

Relevant guidance and excellent support is provided to all volunteers. Includes onboarding session where ABW's vision and values will be explained along with the organisations processes.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 18

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
