Health and Charity Walk Volunteers

Are you keen to make a difference in the lives of others and support girls in need? Then The’ Walk to Give Her a Voice’ is for you.

This health and charity walk is the first of its kind in Scotland, taking place in Aberdeen city, mainly city centre and Aberdeen beach area. It is a bold statement of unity and solidarity for period related diagnosis and issues and providing support for women and girls.

The Walk to Give Her a Voice charity event wouldn’t be possible without the help of our amazing network of volunteers – The Champs! Join this fantastic team and help us raise funds to help vulnerable girls in need with first period kits. Take away anxiety and stigma from periods and keep girls in school, whilst having fun, making friends and creating memorable experiences that will last forever.

By volunteering with us, you'll be part of a movement dedicated to raising awareness and supporting those affected by period-related challenges. Whether you can lend a hand with event setup, registration, guiding participants along the walk route, or simply spreading the word, your contribution is invaluable. No expertise is needed, just a desire to make a difference, learn, network, have fun, and create memories of a lifetime!

Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers. Includes organisation induction and event induction. We also pay any public transport fares and reimburse volunteers every week.

If you're ready to make a difference and be part of something meaningful, we'd love to have you on board as a volunteer! To sign up, register now at www.walk4her.theperiodplace.co.uk or please email us at walk4her@theperiodplace.co.uk. Join us in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to speak up about period health and well-being.
