Director

St Andrews Environmental Network (StAndEN) is seeking new Directors to assist in giving strategic direction to our mission to promote sustainable living. Directors serve on the board of directors of StAndEN as a company and are also trustees in StAndEN’s role as a charity.

Experience required

They are seeking to appoint several new voluntary members of the board. They are particularly looking at people from a variety of backgrounds including:


  • Human Resources

  • Finance

  • Funding
    Alongside this, it is desirable that you have an interest in environmental issues and sustainability. A background in these subjects is not a requirement. They are looking for someone who will work with them to promote their projects within St Andrews and the surrounding areas.
    Please note that applicants need to live in the St Andrews area in order to become a member director.


Travel details

Meetings are held monthly in a hybrid format. AGM is held at the The Eco Hub, St Andrews. Free parking, accessible, bus station is a 5 minute walk.

Frequency & commitment
As a board, we meet monthly - we would ask that you can commit to at least 9 meetings per year. Meetings are held online, during the daytime. Minimum commitment is 6 hours per quarter.
