Heritage Trail Tour Guide

Join the Adam Smith Heritage Centre as a Heritage Trail Tour Guide! This exciting volunteer role offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in history while gaining valuable skills. They are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join their team as Volunteer Heritage Tour Guides. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding visitors, including international guests, through the Adam Smith Heritage Tour. The tour includes key locations such as the Heritage Centre, the historic garden, Kirk Wynd, and other significant sites related to Adam Smith's life and legacy in Kirkcaldy.

Experience required

-Strong communication skills
-Confidence in public speaking and leading groups
-Ability to volunteer independently
-Ability to adapt tours to suit the needs and interests of different visitor groups
