If you are looking for a Volunteer role and enjoy working as part of a team please apply. You will feel like you are making a big difference and will be kept busy and entertained every Monday if you can give us 3 hours of your time. Online training and on the job training is available too.

Volunteering details

We are looking for a Volunteer to help deliver our Lunch Club which runs every Monday at the Heart of Newhaven Community Centre. The Volunteer will join a team of very friendly Volunteers and help serve up food, clean dishes and talk with attendees who are mainly there to socialise and be a part of a group. Many of the attendees who come to the Lunch are elderly but we have younger people who come along too. It is a busy role and the Volunteer needs to be available from 11.30 am to 2.30pm.

which has excellent transport links but there is also very good parking available around the centre.

Travel expenses

We can provide paper forms but expenses can also be claimed by volunteers online if they would prefer.
