An exiting opportunity has arisen at Fernvalley for a Saturday Volunteer to work with their animal keepers.
Key activities include:
• Cleaning
• Animal food preparation
• Feeding animals
Volunteers will gain experience working with exotic animals as well as general knowledge of the workings of a wildlife centre.
Experience required
An interest in animals or a career focused on animals or conservation would be an advantage.
Support
Training details
The volunteer will be supervised at all times by one of our animal keepers. After initial training sessions, the volunteer will receive continual training and the opportunity to expand their duties.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers will need to be 18 years or older. We would not be able to support individuals with support needs or needing wheelchair access.
