Training details
Online training on the role of a charity trustee is available. An induction pack and ongoing support from the convenor and current trustees will also be provided.

Trustees are voluntary and unpaid. They are expected to attend meetings bi-monthly, attend the AGM and be willing to represent Cohousing Scotland at occasional events. There is not set term of office, but we aim to have trustees serve for at least on informal term of 3 years to allow for continuity. A trustee would expect to give 5 hours per month to the charity, though they may choose to give more time.
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
