Lunch Club Volunteer

The Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian church. Their mission is based on their faith in Jesus Christ who wants everyone to experience life in all its fullness. They put their faith into action by offering practical help for people without discrimination. The Arbroath congregation are looking for volunteers to help out during their Wednesday lunch group, and potentially across other days as required.

We are looking for volunteers to assist in the running of the lunch. There are a range of volunteering activities to get involved with, including:

· Setting up the hall
· Taking the register
· Setting up teas/coffees
· Engaging and building relationships with participants
· Taking part in activities
· Preparing, making lunch and serving to members
· Tidying kitchen and storing kitchen equipment in cupboards
· Tidying away equipment in the main hall

Volunteers will be supported in the role, offered the necessary training and given lots of other opportunities should you wish. Everyone is welcome and those that attend, volunteer and work there enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere

Regular, once a week attendance at the group, or more as agreed.
Additional training will be available depending on need.
