A creative, fun and inspiring role running units (groups) for our Rainbows (aged 4-7), Brownies (aged 7-10), Guides (aged 10-14) and Rangers (14-18). We have units across Orkney Mainland and on some of the isles so there is flexibility for the individual for location. Meetings occur throughout school term time.
Key activities include:
• Working as a team/leading a team;
• Organising age appropriate activities;
• Managing records;
• Managing the units accounts.
Volunteers will gain team work and leadership skills, organisation skills, opportunities to make new friends, and gain new skills and experiences.
Volunteers commit to a few hours each week during school term time. Units meet on a variety of days usually in the evening so there is flexibility.
Experience required
Organisation, team working, creative, fun and inspiring. We are open to anyone who has their own expertise they can bring to the role such as arts, outdoors, STEM etc.
