Special Constable (Falkirk)

The Special Police Constable is a volunteering role with a long and impressive history with Police Scotland.

The Special Constable role is a part-time volunteering opportunity where members of the public can maximise their spare time supporting their communities. Volunteers support the vision of Police Scotland for safer communities, less crime, and supporting victims in a thriving workforce which may offer opportunities for a new career.

As a special constable, you will be given identical powers to that of a police officer, who you will work alongside and at times that best suit you. The role is flexible, generally 4 hours a week (up to 96hrs per year).

If you are interested in joining the team, learning new skills, forging strong partnerships in the community, preventing crime, and making a real difference in the community you love, then this could be the role for you.

If you would like to know more about the Special Constable role, then please respond to this enquiry or arrange to chat with one of our recruitment specialists: recruitmentspecialconstable@scotland.police.uk
