Scouts Trustee

Week by week, Scouts volunteers empower thousands of young people aged 4 to 25 to try new things, make new friends and stand on their own two feet. You don’t have to work with young people to give them skills for life.

They are looking for trustees for their Dunfermline groups. As a trustee, you will have responsibility for the running of the group, and will work as a team with other trustees to make decisions, handle group finances, resolve issues and plan ahead.

You don’t need any previous experience as a trustee, and training will be given. You don’t need to have been a Scout when you were younger. Whatever your skillset, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can spare, and they promise you’ll get more out of it than you put in.

Sounds fun? Worthwhile? It is.

Experience required

No previous experience is required, as long as volunteers are enthusiastic about supporting a charity that helps children and young people gain experience and confidence, and have fun. Good organisational and team work skills would be a plus.
