Volunteer at Christmas Carol Concert in Glasgow Cathedral

CrossReach are delighted to be hosting our annual Christmas Carol Concert for 2024 in Glasgow Cathedral on Thursday December 5th. We will have two portions to the evening; VIP reception for our generous donors, heads of service, SMPs and partners which will be held in St Mungo's Museum from 5pm. We will then move across to the cathedral where doors will open from 6:30pm where the abbey will be lined with refreshment stands, trading tables, art exhibition from our Heart for Art services, displays from our Children and Family Services and more. The concert will begin in the main cathedral space at 7pm. With all profit going directly into our social care services, we want to make this night as enjoyable and memorable for our fantastic supporters as possible. To do this we have a number of roles to be filled to help the night run smoothly.

For our VIP reception we need - waiters/waitresses, cloak room attendants, refreshment servers - all required at the venue from approximately 3pm.

For our carol concert we need - accessibility coordinators, refreshment stand attendants, ushers, ticket checkers - all required from approximately 5pm.

Travel details

Based in the centre of Glasgow, the cathedral is accessible by foot, car or bus. There is a car park across the road and is served by the following bus routes: X19, X74, 19, 38, 38A.
