Our award-winning volunteers at VSA are a vital part of our charity. Every hour contributed by our volunteers makes a difference. You truly are making an impact on the lives of vulnerable adults, we support across our services in the Northeast of Scotland, it’s with your support we can provide the very best of care to whom we support.

We have a variety of personal and corporate volunteering opportunities available for you to consider, whether you can gift an occasional hour, a whole day or make a regular commitment by volunteering every week, we would love to welcome you to the team.

For instance, you could help VSA as a:


*Fundraising Event Volunteer:
Assist VSA at our upcoming events. From community events such as Highland games and galas to our annual events such as Sing, Sing, Sing! and the Best of Care Ball, volunteering is an exciting way to get involved in making an impact to VSA and their fundraising mission with events that draw hundreds if not thousands of attendees.


*Fundraising Challenge Volunteer:
Get involved in our fun challenges by volunteering. Perhaps you want to help marshal a fun-filled sporting activity, cheering on participants, handing out medals, or utilising your specialist skills - we have plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in.


*Volunteer Administrative Assistant:
Volunteering as an Administration Assistant in a small charity means you'll be working closely with a team of passionate and dedicated people who are working hard to make a difference. Although you may only be asked to help a couple days a week, your support is invaluable because you'll be helping to keep the office fully stocked and fully functioning. Duties could be anything from booking meetings to dealing with public inquiries and data entry.


*Corporate Volunteering:
We offer corporate volunteering opportunities through our corporate partnerships for businesses to get involved in various projects and events that support VSA’s mission. By participating in these initiatives, companies can give back to the community, boost employee morale, and enhance their corporate social responsibility efforts. Relevant training and excellent support is provided to all volunteers.

Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
