The opportunity takes place at Balgownie Lodge, Innovation Park, Campus 3, AB22 8GW our dedicated safety education hub in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. Conveniently accessible by local bus Number 1, our location is easy to reach from across the city. For those driving, we offer free on-site parking, ensuring a hassle-free visit. Whether you’re traveling by public transport or car, getting to Balgownie Lodge is straightforward, making it easy to join us in creating safer communities.

Training details

Excellent support and relevant training provided to all volunteers. At Absafe, we provide all volunteers with a comprehensive induction to familiarise you with our mission, values, and activities. You'll receive tailored training for your role, ensuring you feel confident and equipped to make a difference. From hands-on workshops for educational roles to guidance on social media management or facility upkeep, we’ll support you every step of the way. Our dedicated team always provides ongoing support, and regular check-ins ensure you’re thriving in your role. We’re committed to creating a positive and rewarding volunteering experience where you’ll feel valued and empowered to contribute effectively.

Frequency & commitment
Flexible times available. All help makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
