shmuFM Volunteers

shmuFM supports our local communities to create their own radio shows - we broadcast a variety of issue based, music and community radio programming online, on 99.8FM and on DAB.

There are various volunteering roles in shmuFM: you can be a studio presenter, part of a community news gathering team, specialist music presenter, or get involved behind the scenes.

Full training and excellent support is provided to all volunteers. Volunteers will be given induction into the role and will be fully supported by our shmu staff team.

If you live in Woodside, Tillydrone, Seaton, Torry, Northfield, Cummings Park, or Middlefield - get in touch to find out about becoming a shmuFM volunteer.
