Fundraising Volunteer

Being a parent isn't easy, it can be lonely, frustrating, heart breaking and overwhelming. All parents struggle from time to time. At Home Start, we recognise this and work to support parents not just to survive but thrive!

Acting as our representative in the local community, Fundraising Volunteers will play a vital role in strengthening our reach and engagement in the local community, raising awareness of our charity and our work, health information and support. You will help raise money to allow us to continue supporting vulnerable families by creating fundraising opportunities in your local area and being a local champion by raising awareness of our work. This varied and flexible role will enable you to focus on the things you enjoy most, the connections you already have, and the time you have available.

You will have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable families, as well as gaining practical experience in fundraising and event planning. This is an exciting, rewarding opportunity which requires energy, commitment, reliability, creativity and most importantly a sense of fun.

Experience required

No previous experience of fundraising is required, just an enthusiasm for our cause, an outgoing personality and someone who is self-motivated!
