The Treasurer position is a volunteer role with the Board of Trustees. The role is required to ensure that all the finances and the supporting financial control systems are kept in order along with preparing budgets, dealing with accounts inspection and preparing quarterly Board reports. Also, there are sometimes unexpected issues that crop up & need dealing with as they arise.
Musselburgh Citizens Advice Bureau outsource their financial function to an external accountancy firm, the Treasurer along with the Chief Executive Officer will oversee the contract and ongoing relationship with the accountancy officers.

Current Treasurer, Chair person and Chief Officer will introduce you to the role and what is required.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 25
Needs experience in accounting / charity finance
Volunteers (aged 25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
