Our busy and vibrant Oxfam shop on Byres Road is looking for volunteers to help us raise funds for projects across the world!

At Oxfam, we're not just selling pre-loved items and unique finds – we're working together to build a radically better world. With your help, we will turn pre-loved treasures into resources that empower communities worldwide.

As a volunteer, you'll be the friendly face of our shop, handling customer transactions with a smile. You'll provide top customer service, and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back!
If customer-facing doesn't feel right for you we also have our E-Commerce volunteers and Stockroom superstars.

To reach the Oxfam Shop at 231 Byres Road, Glasgow G12 8UD, from Glasgow city centre using public transport, consider the following options:

By Subway:
Route: From Buchanan Street Subway Station, take the Outer Circle (clockwise) to Hillhead Subway Station.
Frequency: Trains run frequently throughout the day.
Journey Time: Approximately 10 minutes.
From Hillhead Station: Exit onto Byres Road; the Oxfam Shop is a short walk south at 231 Byres Road.

By Bus:
Route: From Union Street near Glasgow Central Station, you can catch Bus 4 or Bus 4A towards Broomhill.
Frequency: Buses depart regularly throughout the day.
Journey Time: Approximately 15–20 minutes.
Alight at: The stop near Dowanhill Park on Byres Road; the Oxfam Shop is a short walk south.
