Peebles Stroke Group
- VO102143
A stroke causes physical disabilities but intelligence is not affected, although speech may be impaired. Members enjoy chatting and competing in games and having visits from speakers. They are an upbeat, happy group.
The role involves:
• Preparing the room and tea trolley.
• Handing out tea/coffee and clearing up.
• Chatting to members and listening.
• Helping set up games.
• If you have a car it can be helpful to bring members or take them home.
The group meets fortnightly throughout the year on Wednesday afternoons.
