Cornton Out of School Care

COSC is an independent club for children at Cornton Primary School, providing a safe and fun environment for local children after school hours. COSC is a registered charity, with a Board of Trustees who are all working mums with kids at the school or local nursery. COSC employs a manager and playworkers for day-to-day delivery of the club, 3.15 - 6PM term time, but we rely on Trustees and other volunteers to support the wider management of the club, including:
- HR, recruitment, payroll
- Writing applications for small grant funding
- Marketing and promotion
- Supporting Manager and playworkers to deliver enriching and fun programme of activities for the club
- Supporting Manager to maintain and update training, policy and procedures, in compliance with Care Inspectorate
Experience required
We particularly welcome volunteers with experience working in childcare settings, and dealing with Care Inspectorate.
We also welcome volunteers with experience in
- bid writing, fundraising
- recruitment, HR
- payroll, finance, bookkeeping
