Logie Old Graveyard Group

Old Logie Kirk and Graveyard is an ancient site , sitting a short distance up the hill from the New Logie Kirk
It was completely overgrown and inaccessible but in 2007 a group of volunteers got together to rescue the site . Now it has been completely cleared and is somewhere folk can and do visit- some for the peace , some to explore the history .
However , it does require ongoing care - weeding , painting, planting , keeping the stones - just to keep the place tidy and accessible
We are very keen to hear from anyone who would be interested in joining in with us to carry on looking after this beautiful place .
There are other roles eg helping with the summer tours ,helping to promote the site to encourage more visitors, helping with fund raising
( always needed!!!)
We are a very friendly bunch , child and dog friendly so if you would like to know more , please get in touch
