Would you like to be part of a very busy but very welcoming Community Centre in the heart of Galashiels?
TREASURER’S role is to manage the organisation's finances and provide financial information to the committee.
Their responsibilities include:
• Financial oversight
Ensuring that the organisation has proper financial records and procedures, and that accounting controls are in place
• Financial reporting
Presenting financial reports to the committee and at the annual general meeting
• Financial planning
Advising on the organisation's reserves
• Financial information
Providing information to the committee on the organisation's financial status, and clarifying the financial implications of proposals
• Day-to-day financial decisions
the treasurer makes day-to-day financial decisions with consultation with Chair and reports them to the committee
• Fundraising
The committee as a whole is responsible for all financial matters and decisions on how to spend money.
