Support Older Adults as a Footcare Assistant or Receptionist with Braveheart's 'Top toes' project

Make a meaningful difference in your community by volunteering with Braveheart’s TopToes project, providing essential footcare services to older adults. We are currently looking for:

Footcare Assistants: Help with basic footcare tasks (training provided) to ensure clients maintain their mobility and independence.
Receptionists: Welcome clients to clinics, manage bookings, and provide a friendly and organised experience.
No prior experience is required for either role, and full training is provided, including NHS-certified podiatry training for Footcare Assistants. You will be part of a supportive team, working directly with clients and other volunteers to improve health outcomes and create a positive, caring environment.

Volunteer Hours: Flexible to suit your schedule. Clinics are currently held Clackmannanshire, Stirling, Falkirk and surrounding areas


Experience required


  • Empathy and a friendly demeanour

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to learn and adapt (training provided)

  • Organisation and reliability (especially for reception roles)

  • Teamwork and a positive attitude
