In this role you will take the ECHC shop trolley around the hospital wards to serve those unable to come to the shop. Main tasks are:
ensuring trolley is stocked and ready to go, collecting payment device etc
taking the trolley round the wards, following route/guidelines given - checking in with NHS staff for any specific guidelines for that day
letting families know the trolley is available, serving customers and taking payments
delivering online purchases as requested.

The hospital is well served by Lothian buses
Travel expenses
Actual travel expenses to max £10 per day may be claimed. A form needs completed and receipts supplied which is signed off by role manager then costs reimbursed directly to nominated bank account.
Support
Training details
Initial online induction and in role training. Further training offered periodically, some of which is compulsory for the role (e.g. annual child protection training)
