About this event
Provide the holiday of a lifetime to a young person between the ages of 4 and 18 with additional and/or complex needs, whilst giving priceless respite to their families and carers. The holidays are provided at no cost to the children’s families.
Volunteering details
Being a volunteer helper on a Newman Trust holiday is a wonderfully rewarding experience. You will enable deserving children to have a holiday of a lifetime and contribute to a unique experience for all involved. The holidays are FUN, FULFILLING and strangely ADDICTIVE! No prior training is needed - just a strong will to help others, lots of energy, and a sense of humour.
Travel details
Takes place at Glenalmond College in Perth. Easiest way to travel is by car, however, car shares can be organised or pick-ups can be arranged from bus and train stations in Perth.
Travel expenses
All food and accommodation throughout the week is already paid for by the trust. The only thing we ask volunteers to cover is their travel to and from the venue (and any evening snacks or drinks).
Dates
12 July - 20 October 2025
